Situation: Sam seems to have found a clever way for the preparation of the presentation. Ken is asking about it.
Ken: What about the presentation?
Sam: I started to draft “How our screws excel” and “the difference with competing products” in Japanese. It’s been told over and over from my Uncle and the skilled workers all the time…and …
Ken: Google Translate and the correct site, is it?
Sam: Exactly! Hitting the voice button on Google Translate even teaches you the pronunciation. So it’s really convenient.
Ken: Internet’s very useful.
Sam: That’s right. So, after that, I read the presentation in front of English native speakers, received comments and had my pronunciation corrected.
Ken: Sam, you had foreigner friends?
Sam: No way, I would’ve been able to speak better if I did.
Ken: Then, no, you mean here??
Sam: Yes, that’s right. How did you guess? I grabbed hold of an English native speaker and had him listen to my presentation.
Ken: Cool! That was a good idea.
Sam: All of them corrected my pronunciation with enthusiasm, which I really appreciated.

Sam 「『わが社のネジがいかに優れているか』『他社の製品との違い』についてまずは原稿を日本語で書いた。それはいつも叔父や職人たちから聞いていたから。そして…」
Ken 「Google Translateと添削サイト、ですか？」
Sam 「その通り！ Google Translateは音声ボタンをクリックすると、どう発音するかまで教えてくれるからすごい便利なんだ。」
Ken 「インターネットは本当に便利ですよね」
Sam 「本当に。あと原稿は英語ネイティブの前で読んでみて、講評をもらったり、発音を直してもらったりしたよ。」
Ken 「Samさん、外国人の友達がいたの？」
Sam 「いるわけないじゃん。いたら、もうちょっと英語をしゃべれてたよ。」
Ken 「じゃ、えっ、まさか、ここ…？？」
Sam 「そう、よくわかったね。このカフェで英語ネイティブの人を捕まえて、プレゼンを聞いてもらったんだよ！」
Ken 「なるほどー！ それはいいアイデアでしたね。」
Sam 「みんな熱心に発音指導してくれて、ありがたかったよ！」
